hi friends - this is the post that I tried to post yesterday morning 

sooooo don't want to confuse you

it is Friday morning now lol

and I will ty to post this once again -

good morning

it's a cool Thursdayv(really Friday now ) here in Alberta

but at least the week has been coming around to be more favorable yhippy

other then this is my second(really my third lol) attempt at creating this post

I started at 2:55am and when I was almost at the end I lost my post

deep breath

starting again it's now 3:24am

all right here we go

so I used two fab new products

my new stamp set called Papaya Collage 

and my new FAV colour

RASBERRY RIPPLE

I chose a photo to mount in my card

I was really looking for a photo of my mom and I in a black and white but could not find anything that was going to work

so I chose this photo that was taken at my grandparents cottage

I stamped the beautiful image for the frame

used black (new stamp pad that I am over the top about squeal)

cute uh?

then I created some new flowers

and I thought fun this could be a fun flower to teach in class

ouh but then I look in the new catalogue

and nope not in there sad!

pretty flowers uh?

oh yes with my new fav colour

what is it??

it's RASBERRY RIPPLE

the other colour is Very Vanilla

I also used

NEWSPRINT DSP

for the flowers

I used a embossing folder called

FRAMED TULIPS

I sponged it with Rasberry Ripple

then I was thinking I may not of liked that

now you see what I do when Make cards

I change my mind many many of times

oh yes I rethought the background can you see

I decided to used the DSP

called NEWSPRINT

I made a cut little banner with the words

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

then a few pearls

are you ready to see how my mom's card turned out

My Digital Studio Recipe for Caramel Popcorn

Good day y'all

hope this mid day week finds you all well

I aint gonna lie I am very much looking forward to

THIS week to end

sigh!

okay today I have a very very fabulous recipe to share with y'all

thank you Tammy for this super yhum yhum yhum recipe

this is the recipe

ouh yes created in My digital Studio

Stampin Up has made me have very very pretty recipies lol

now let me share the process with you

first pop the popcorn in a pot or deep pan

I also did the caramel mixture at the same time

after you have combined the two together(I used a very very large bowl lol)

 and mixed well you will be baking the popcorn in the oven

I put it in one of my Le Creuset roasters

After the 1 hour baking process and the cooling stage

I put them in little bags

and put a pretty white bow

which by the way I will soooooooooooooooooooo

MISS THE WHITE SATIN RIBBON

and I punched a little scallop circle tag

which I wrote  a little message on

kinda cute don't you think???

I wanta make more this weekend

it's a long weekend and you should see the list I have to a ccomplish this weekend

yhikes scary

but the list will get accomplished

and I will feel very very happy by Monday afternoon

all in the attitude right!

if you only knew that's what is keeping me going this week! lol

Papaya Collage new Stampin Up set for a Mothers day card

Good morning friends

yesterday's Monday was an eventful and was sure happy to get to end it with a little time with my girls last night

The best part was that I did not have to make supper 

yhippy

I started a new house rule last week(thank you Lee for the suggestion you are the best)

and it consists of one person in the family to make a meal on a rotation

last night it was Renee's turn

she made fabulous Potatoe Martinis

they were just so delicious

Thursday it's Tyler's turn 

fun!

It gives me a nice break and I think it's fabulous for all of us

I love that they are taking wonderful iniciative and so proud of the efforts that they have all put forth

ouh I totally love it!

okay onto a card share with you 

I used of my new stamp set that I got to pre-order

it's Papaya Collage

started by stampin this pretty flower image

I used Staz On as I am colouring this image

My camera was again giving me grief here

hope this weekend I can do some homework to find me a new camera!

After I coloured the flowers I cut them out

and I then stamped the frame

I did some layers

and this is where I used my new and favorite in colour

it's called

RASBERRY RIPPLE

such a nice colour don't you think

ouh and I fergot to tell you who I made this card for

this one is Wanda's card

you see she has a special spot in my heart

I wanted to highlight the day

I stopped and visited with her on Saturday night before dinner

it was really nice - she liked the popcorn too he he

ahw and she gave me a beautiful potted plant

my fav flowers - I'll post photos on Friday

and yhum biscotti (hers are truly the best ever!)

Thank you Wanda - remember that I still miss YOU Lot's!

I used a piece of very vanilla cardstock and

used my big shot to emboss striped pattern

and then a few little pearls and voila

but just so I can share an MDS recipe

I want to share one more photo and then I am off like a hurd of Turtles

to hopefully a less eventfull day

here's to hoping right??

you can see the layers of the flowers a bit better at this angle

so happy that the lace ribbon and seam binding will be in the

new Stampin Up! catalogue

Mothers day cards 1st post created with Mojo Monday for Mrs. Sluchinski "Blessed Mother"

Good morning friends

hope you all had a really great mothers day weekend

We did our little celebration on Saturday night

this way my kiddlets could go Sunday and be with their girlfriend and boyfriends family

On Saturday evenining we took my mom out for dinner

and we were all together 

all 9 of us - we were missing Bill

but the rest of the gang was together

it was a nice dinner here at a local restaurant

Evan and Kayla got me some fabulous kitchen art(it looks so nice that I think I need to get rid of some of my old stuff he he)

I love the card they got me too - I feel so special~

I'll post my gifts later on in the week

Renee and Woody made me a card (yes I promise to post that too he he)

and I got a new mouse for my MAC laptop (that makes my life so much simpler I love it)

I also got a LU LU Lemon reversable hoody it's black and I will be wearing it today he he

and some make up too - I was spoiled he he

Rex and Evan made me a beautiful breakfast as well

it was a nice Sunday! I enjoyed my time with my family both Saturday night dinner and Sunday morning

Tyler has a new girlfriend and she is really sweet her name is Lisa! (thank you for joining us Saturday night Lisa)

I got to spend some time in my craft room both on Saturday and Sunday

ouh and I made a Tammy's caramel popcorn - oh my yhum yhum yhum

I made 4 bags and gave one to some special ladies! (with a cute little tag and a ribbon)

I will be sharing that recipe in a beautiful MDS on Wednesday

so for today I'll start with my mother in laws card that I created

I started with the MOJO Monday sketch

I used the new Midnight Muse along with Baja Breeze cardstock

and very Vanilla

the DSP I used is called Comfort Cafe

I created a pretty little pon pon

add one of the best ribbons around he he

I really tried a few different ways to lay this card out

I always second guess how it's all going to look you know

so I play and enjoy lol

see how I switch things lol

it's coming together though I think right?

The kids call her Nanny and so I do sometimes call her Nanny as well

Gumball Green with Bright Blossoms

Good morning friends

it's FRIDAY

I serious do not know where the week has gone

been a good week - but just crazy busy with lot's of interuptions

I guess thats what keeps things interesting right lol

my post today is kinda short and hopefully you think it's sweet

I am not sure what happened really but I did not take a lot of photos

first I am having issues with my all time fav camera

sadly I will have to replace it

for sure before convention

I just have lot's going on right now so I will need a day to go a camera store soon and get some

good sound advise

sigh

anyways onto my card for today

Primrose Petals new in colour along with Layered Labels

Good day it's Thursday

where has the week gone????
HOLLLLLLLYYYYYY Cow uh??

I can't beleive that it's mothers day this weekend

I have a special card in my head to create for my mom

I'll share that with you all on Monday

I have a few others mom's that I will be making cards for and will share them next week as well

I know I should share them now to give you ideas right

BUT the thing is that I can't - I don't want them special ladies to see the cards hehe

hope you all understand

soooooooo for today I continue onto my mission of the 

NEW IN COLOUR STAMPIN

I'll tell you that I am having tones of fun

mind you, I think I am tired of the layered labels stamp for this

it's a really pretty pink

all right enough blah blah let's get started

I first did a litle BIG SHOT action

all right I think I am liking this better

so picky I am 

but the other way was too much

too cute now with some little details of the embosslit butterflies

ever told you how much I love my Stampin Up goodies

ouh my hint for the day - almost fergot

NEW CATALOGUE

I will announce my big surprise event real soon 

we will have new ribbon I am sure with this colour

but these eyes have yet to see that

sooooooo let me improvise

I'll tell you that the new stamp pads are so juice that it's so much easier to colour my ribbon

I used a very vanilla satin ribbon here and used the sponge dabber with my ink pad

and voila beautiful Primrose Petals ribbon

I used my cropadile to punch holes in my cardstock 

and snuck the ribbon in the holes

hide the holes with my big pearls

these are fabulous pearls

last few details and card 3 o 5 will be complete

there we have it what do you think of this one friends

I like this colour

Layered Labels with Midnight Muse & Blog Candy Winner

I am shocked that it's all ready Wednesday

I am having a good week at work

really busy but a good one!

Certainly am blessed to have a good business - so would never complain about being busy

just so thankful!

Monday marked a day that I will always remember

back in 1993 marked was the 1st day I started being self employed

so I am officially into my 20th year of business

I am really not sure where that time has gone - it seems long ago but yet like yesterday??? HUM 

I was pregrant with my Renee at the time - sigh - phew my babies are growing up much like my business uh?

I just had to take a moment and reflect on that time -

and when I get to really do fun stuff outside of the box I will say it makes me a little happy lol

you see I could not find a punch or a die that would work well inside this new stamp

I used very vanilla here and everything was stamped with the new colour

then I had to cut this image out closer

I know I am a layers freak lol

and create a little frame on my very vanilla card stock

coming together nicely

my fav ribbon of all times is the seam binding 

I love how well it works in Miss Lee's bow maker 

and I really super duper like that I can make a triple bow like this one

Back in the real world - sharing some beautiful birthday cards

Good moning from Alberta on this fine morning

I made it home safe and sound - it was after 2:00am (Alberta time) when I finely got to head to my bed

slept very very fast lol was back up before 6:00am so I could sort thru my new Stampin Up Goodies

oh boy I had fun!

I can't wait to share more details on an event that I will be holding here at my home!

so y'all stay tuned for that okay?

after sorting everything and pulling all my retired items I did not have time to stamp

but that is okay I spent much valued time in my kitchen with my kiddlets

we got ready to have nice little BBQ at the land

Rex, Evan and Tyler have been pushing lots of dirt there and it was nice to see the progress

we had a wonderful meal full of yhummy food out there and quadded around the entire land - checked everything out - I so enjoy it out there so peaceful and pretty - 

we have two loons on that lake - oh and we have tones of geese at our home lake

so that was Sunday!

oh yes I did get all the laundry caught up and suitcase unpacked

ahw I am ready for a new week of work

but first let me share some very special cards I received for my birthday

I love all the layers and how pretty the seam binding bow

and the tiny butterfly on the tag

she is such a sweet friend

she made a beautiful matching bag as well

I am so blessed

I just really love the little details like the newsprint DSP little banner at the bottom

she is like that you know - he he 

pays attention to details!

The bow on the flower is such a nice touch uh?

she made me a super beautiful box to go with this beautiful card sadly it did not make the home trip so safe  :(

that she took to Incentive trip

Alberta bound this evening last post from Florida

Whow I am heading home today.
I won't lie I have missed my family and my doggies. But I have honestly had one of the best weeks of my life. It was very treasured time spent with Lee and the wonderful team at Stampin Up! One day it is my goal to earn an incentive trip just like this one!!!!!
Lee's husband is so sweet and really enjoyed getting to know him!!! Thank you both for the warm hospitality while I have been here!!! I have had such a fabulous time!!
Let me tell you a bit about the photos I chose. The one photo is of Vicky from Utah (fellow demonstrator -she is soooo cute) Miss Lee and me being a goof lol. That was on Thursday night at Hollywood studios.
Yesterday Lee and I drove back from Orlando to Jacksonville!
We got back to her house in time to freshen up and go to dinner at the coolest little place EVER!!!
We went to Singleton's Seafood Shack "the Shack" It is a little restaurant along the river - its one of the last original eating places in Mayport Village!
It was sooo delicious and loved the rustic aspect of this wonderful little eatin place!!!
I tried a fish called Cobia and it was soooooo delicious. ( this was a first - and while I was here I even tried Gator bites - yhap alligator VERY gooood) I also had a little hush puppy. I must admit them hush puppies are growing on me lol.
I love the photo of Miss Lee and Darrell outside the restaurant. Don't you. Sorry about the sun glaring!!!!
We went the Hugeunot (jacksonville beach - northern tip)as well and I got to see camping along the ocean. How neat. HUM......It don't look like that in Alberta when we camp lol!!!
Such a wonderful day and evening.
I am not so good with words u know?? So I can't really describe how this makes me feel. But I can say that I am speechless. So many things to treasure.
Meeting Tammy Jackson spending time with Lee meeting Darrell, spending time Sandi meeting Ian!
Visiting with fellow demonstrators and forming new friendships.
Ouh and one of them new friendships "Cindy" is a new grandma congrats to you for your new grand baby. So exciting!!!
Sooooooo for now friends I will leave you with warm wishes from Florida.
I won't be posting tomorrow cause I want to spend time with my family and a wee bit of time in my craft room so I can create with my new stamps that I received!!!!!!
